Kilpauk is a small commercial township located in the capital
city of Tamil Nadu, Chennai. The area falls in the western outskirts
of the city. The distance from Chennai's city center to Kilpauk is
about 6 kms. The region is situated off the Ponamallee High Road in
the west. Adjacent suburbs of Kilpauk include Chetpet, Egmore and
Purasawalkam.
Kilpauk region is provided with a number of commercial
establishments. The region provides ample means of accommodation and

that provide quality education and training. The Kilpauk Medical
College, located within the suburbs, is a quite a reputed institute.

Accessibility
- Kilapuk locality is not that far (6 kms approx.) from the
city center, that is George Town. The major road links that
provide accessibility to the region are Periyar Salai and Tiru
Narayana Guru Road. Buses and taxis are popular means for
reaching the place.
- The nearest railway station for Kilpauk is the one at
Chetpet. This railway station lies to the south of Kilpauk and
