Known as 'Marghazi festival of music and dance', the event
commemorates the inception of Madras Music Academy. The air, during

the presence of the scholars and great artists from the region and
around.
The festival is also popular following the status ascribed to the
Carnatic music. The music which is kind of devotional is extensively
